     Melinda was just your average freshman girl, until she was invited to a party. this was a party

with the seniors over the summer. Melinda had a drink and everything changed. Melinda called the cops and the party was ruined. Everyone in the beginning of school hated her. 

      This is an amazing novel to read. It really lets you know how Melinda feels, its a story unlike 

any other. This novel has a great use of symbolism. It shows that no matter how bad things get, 

everything will get better eventually. The novel is depressing but the ending is surprising.The whole book is very mysterious and kept me wondering until the end. I really enjoyed this novel.
